Welcome Pembrey and Burry Port photographic society welcomes all visitors to the web site for the club. Digital photography is the main focus of the club but we do still have Full darkroom facilities for those still wishing to develop and print their own Black & White prints.So this does not mean that people with film and darkroom experience will be turned away all are welcome. Any one that has recently purchased a digital camera and wishes to learn a little more about using the camera and composing the ideal picture are welcome to come along and have an informal talk to our members about their work. Our full studio set up, of 5 overhead suspended track lights with cantilevers, make the lights capable of being dropped down to near floor level to accommodate many shooting sets from full length portrait to babies and children. This set up rivals most clubs and professional photographers in the local area. Studio Hire As many Photographers who like portraiture know , trying to find a well equipped studio for hire in the south wales area is difficult, so this offer goes out to all WPF member clubs for the chance for their members to use the studio for the fee of £30 for the first 2 hours and then £15 per hour there after.For hire for longer periods or regular use then please contact us for reduced rates. We also have some props that could be used in the shoot although photographers are also welcome to bring their own. A member of Pembrey and Burry Port PS will be available to give advice and assistance during the shoot if necessary.Please see our contacts page for how to get hold of us to arrange this.
